What to Do If You Suspect Unauthorized Access

If you believe someone has accessed your account without your permission, it's crucial to act immediately to protect your data, characters, and in-game progress.

Common signs of unauthorized access

  • Unexpected changes to your character, inventory, or zeny

  • Password recovery emails you didn’t request

  • Login attempts at unusual times or from unfamiliar locations

  • Activities or penalties on your account that you don’t recognize

Immediate steps you should take

  1. Change your password immediately
    Use a strong, unique password.

  2. Enable or review your OTP (One-Time Password) system
    If you haven’t enabled OTP yet, now is the best time.
    It adds an extra layer of security to your login attempts.

  3. Check for suspicious emails
    Ignore links or attachments from unknown senders.
    GRAVITY will never ask for your password or sensitive information via email.

 Explain the situation with as much detail as possible:

  • What changes you observed

  • Basic account information (name, email, character ID)

NEVER share the account

  • Even with close people or family members, never share passwords, PINs or logins.

  • According to the Terms of Service, the account holder is solely responsible for account usage.

  • If there’s a valid suspicion of unauthorized access, Gravity may temporarily lock your account for analysis and protection.

  • Support may request identity verification to reactivate the account or recover items, in accordance with current policies.
